One Day
ONE DAY
When I awake I am convinced it was real.
Somehow I have allowed it to happen again.
Again I am the guilty party.
Again it is my fault, I allowed this to happen to me.
I didn’t fight hard enough.
Didn’t realize what was happening until it was too late.
One day I will write and create and produce the shame right out of my fingertips.
Until it has all drained from my soul
and all that is left
is the glory in simply existing.
